SUMMARY:

The organizational environment is made up of the multiplicity of ethical and moral principles of its members, in line with the precepts employed by the organization. Thus, naturally, conflicts expressed through violence based on power relations can emerge, as is the case with moral and sexual harassment. Sexual harassment attacks a person's sexual freedom, while moral harassment attacks their psychological dignity. However, it is not uncommon for victims to suffer both: they are sexually harassed and, as a consequence of rejecting the attacker's advances, they are morally harassed. All organizations must strive for a dignified, safe, healthy and sustainable organizational climate, seeking to curb any and all practices that may put the physical, mental and social well-being of their employees at risk. From this perspective, this work aims to investigate the fight against moral and sexual harassment carried out by the Municipal Government of Parnamirim/RN, aiming, above all, to analyze institutional initiatives and strategies aimed at preventing and confronting these forms of violence in the workplace, their limits and potentialities. The proposal is structured as a descriptive case study, which will use documentary research as a strategy and is justified by the relevance of knowing how harassment is tackled in the workplace in order to better promote health, well-being and the safety of workers.
