SUMMARY:

The hospital environment is a consensual space of risk to health and safety, mainly due to contextual aspects, such as the form of organization, working conditions and the socio-professional relations established in them. In the case of Hospital Universitário Onofre Lopes, the complexity becomes greater because it is an institution that, in addition to providing medical and hospital care services, serves as a field of practice for teaching and academic research activities in the health area. This study aims to: systematize information about the relationship between work and health in the hospital context from the analysis of the results obtained in studies developed under HUOL. It is  ntended to perform an electronic search in the databases: Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS), CAPES Journal Portal, Google Scholar and UFRN Institutional Repository. The inclusion criteria will be studies developed at the Onofre Lopes University Hospital published from 2009 to 2019. It is expected that the research analysis will support decision making and improve workers' quality of life by synthesizing the knowledge of the theme addressed, pointing out possible gaps with a critical evaluation of the research analyzed.
