RESUMO:

The work sectors have undergone changes due the numerous socio economic transformations, technological innovations, globalization and development of the organizations. The good performance of the laborers can be influenced by several behavioral factors, between them, satisfaction in job. In this sense, being satisfied with work can have positive consequences not only in the professional scope, but also influence the social life, in the physical and psychological health of the laborer. The goal of this research is to make a diagnosis about the satisfaction on the work of the assistant and technician nursing professionals allocated at the Onofre Lopes Teaching Hospital (OLTH) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The study will be the cross-sectional and descriptive type, using a quantitative approach. Data collection will be carried out through questionnaires aiming the identification of demographic and functional socio economic profile and recognition of work satisfaction. The data will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics.The research proposes to contribute with managerial information that supports the institution in the elaboration and execution of more adequate management models, aiming improvements not only in the services rendered to society itself, but also in the general well-being of the employees
