This research investigates how the integration between Information Design and Business Intelligence (BI) tools can optimize data visualization and improve the decision-making process in people management at the Regional Labor Court of the 21st Region (TRT21-RN), located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. The central problem lies in the lack of a legible, accessible, and efficient visual artifact that allows for the analysis of administrative data within the personnel management decision-making process. The study is characterized as applied research, employing data analysis methods for the development of management dashboards. The methodology was divided into three stages. In Stage 1, the theoretical framework was constructed, methodological procedures were defined, and the project was submitted to the Research Ethics Committee. Stage 2 initially involves conducting semi-structured interviews with decision-makers and information operators to map specific informational needs and current bottlenecks. Based on these data, a BI dashboard was developed, grounded in principles of usability and informational clarity, which underwent validation by the interviewees to verify the alignment of the produced material with their workplace needs. In Stage 3, the results and conclusions will be discussed, aiming for the developed artifacts to promote greater transparency in the decision-making process, enhance the productivity of information operators, reduce the cognitive load in data analysis, and provide timely and strategic insights for decision-makers. Beyond promoting the well-being and quality of life of civil servants, these results converge toward more efficient public management and foster innovation within the TRT21-RN.
