Internationalization; Higher Education; UFRN; Academic Cooperation.
This dissertation aims to analyze the internationalization process at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), considering its institutional, academic, and scientific dimensions. The methodology is qualitative, based on document analysis from institutional sources such as the Institutional Development Plan (PDI 2020–2029), reports from the International Relations Office (SRI), and data from CAPES related to the PrInt Program. The findings reveal significant progress in academic mobility, international cooperation, and scientific output, although structural and administrative challenges still persist. The study contributes to a critical understanding of internationalization policies in the context of Brazilian public universities.
