This project proposes the development of a Compliance Guide to help companies—especially micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises—operationalize Brazilian Federal Law No. 14,831/2024 (Mental Health Promoter Company Certificate), in alignment with NR-1 (risk management program) and NR-17 (ergonomics). It adopts an applied mixed-methods design across four stages: (i) preliminary diagnosis via an exploratory survey; (ii) construction of a maturity checklist tailored to six legal axes (secure reporting channels; inclusive and equity policies; permanent mental-health programs; psychological safety; prevention of organizational harassment; continuous monitoring and evaluation), grounded in institutional diagnostic frameworks; (iii) application and analysis of the checklist in pilot firms to identify gaps and prioritize improvements; and (iv) preparation of a practical Guide (technical product) including procedures, templates, and indicators for self-assessment, ongoing monitoring, and certification readiness. Expected outputs include (a) a situational diagnosis with maturity levels and actionable recommendations and (b) a Compliance Guide aligned with SDGs 3, 8, and 16, reinforcing governance, prevention of psychosocial risks, and workplace well-being. The study’s contribution lies in translating the legal framework into measurable and auditable procedures, delivering a replicable and scalable tool that integrates occupational health, people management, and regulatory compliance.
