Emotional labor is understood as the effort of workers to express adequate emotions in the work environment, to comply with the rules of emotional expression on organization and professional activity. Understanding how workers express and regulate emotions in the organizational environment has become a relevant topic in scientific discussions. This study aims to understand the personal and organizational impacts of emotional labor in the context of a Brazilian federal court. Therefore, it will investigate the perception of professionals in the Brazilian justiciary on emotional regulation, identify limits and intervention possibilities and propose strategies for the effective action of Brazilian justiciary bodies in favor of the emotional well-being of their magistrates and government employees.
