SUMMARY:

It is known that processes of strategy execution on organizations involves many correlacted aspects, like colaborators engagement, active comunication, skills development and flexibility in adaptation of organization frequent internal and external changes that occurs in social, politics and economical contexts. It marks the process of strategy implementation in a organization as a complex phenomenon, showing many challenges for Higher Education Intitutions, which have sparse resources and are imersed in a complex environment due theirs public nature. About Rio Grande do Norte Federal University (UFRN), in 2019, there were changes in the institutional senior management, creating a new Management Plan for action orientation that will last four years, alongside the actual Management Staff. This new plan breaks with the models used in previous Management Teams, that’s why its execution can be considered a challenge. At that, this research hopes to turn the new management plan more effective, based on the “Guide for Management Good Practices” development, which has the purpose of being an instrument that helps the institution management staff on execution and monitoring of the Plan Strategy. To make it possible, it has sought the application of the Research-Action method and the adoption os the parameters suggested by Oliveira, Carneiro and Esteves (2019), using a deductive methodological approach, exploratory and prescriptive goals with qualitative nature. This way, the study used those research techniques to suggest good practices in management, and accordingly supplies superior indexes in the Plan Results.
