Brazilian legislation has progressed steadily, accompanying the struggle movements in favor of people with disabilities. Legal frameworks such as the Law of Quotas and the Brazilian Law of Inclusion are born in line with the paradigm shifts that permeate societies, models that move from conceptions of integration to inclusion. Concerning the barriers still present in society, this study aims to diagnose the process of inclusion of disabled employees of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. Thus, understanding the role of the university as representative of an educational institution and social formation, it is proposed a multi-method study of mixed data approach, with the main actors involved in the institutional inclusion process, being they representatives of the technical teams of PROGESP and 18 disabled employees involved in the inclusive actions carried out from January 2015 to September 2016. The findings resulting from the application of semi-structured interviews with a view to the Post-Occupation Evaluation technique and the documentary analysis of technical inspection reports of the UFRN's Health and Safety team will be analyzed with the aid of descriptive statistics and thematic-categorical analysis, considering the characteristics of the information accessed.
