A LOOK AT THE PROCESS OF SHOPPING CENTER BIOSCIENCES CONSUMER MATERIAL IN PERSPECTIVE STP
UFRN. Toyota Production System. Business Process Management.
This technical project aims to analyze the purchasing process material consumption via price registration system,
available in the GIS systems (SIPAC) of Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). The mapping of this
process had as a place of observation the Biosciences Center (CB), one of the academic units UFRN, in order to
view the entire flow of this process, identifying waste and avoid them through the principles of the Toyota Production
System (TPS), in order to improve its efficiency. The methodology for the research is descriptive, whose main
foundation consists of an adaptation of the Action Research strategy. Like this, analyzes the process flow, taking
as reference the literature and tools specialist of the Toyota Production System; Lean process; businees Process
Management (BPM); and Business Process Management Notation (BPMN). After analyzing the flow this study we
conclude that the case in question, presents its lead time up expected, however noted that there are many
opportunities for improvements in impact management. With this shows that management tools based on STP
enable actions Structural and control tasks more efficient, minimizing waste and reducing lead time of the process.
