SUMMARY:

This study, proposed for the Postgraduate Program in Institutional Process Management (PPGPI) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), aims to develop, implement, and analyze an information system for creating Pedagogical Course Projects (PPCs) at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), integrated with the Unified Academic Administration System (SUAP) of IFRN. The methodology employs documentary research tools to understand the processes and user needs with a qualitative approach. The system was developed by the institution's Directorate of Information Technology Management, combining agile methods with the traditional information system development lifecycle, adapted to the specific reality of the institution. As a resulting educational product, a system was delivered to assist faculty and managers in the drafting and approval of PPCs integrated with SUAP. The research strategy is focused on the PPC development process with the development and use of the said system during the revision of the integrated technical course offerings in December 2023. As a result, the solution is expected to support management, particularly the information that will comprise the PPC document, in the agility of drafting and the document approval time by councils, in addition to automated registrations directly in the academic system. Finally, in the second phase of the study, an evaluation of the system will be proposed with the managers of the IFRN Rectorate.
