RESUMO:

When flowing wells no longer have enough energy to elevate the reservoir fluids to the surface, the artificial lift methods are used. One of the methods is the Continuous Gas-Lift, widely used mainly in subsea wells, due to its robustness, simplicity and ability to operate the wide rates range. This method consists of continuous injection of gas at a certain point in the tubing, causing the flow pressure in the well bottom to decrease and the production rates increase. In order to maintain the well operating by Gas-Lift in optimum operating conditions, electronic controllers have been used to make adjustments in some parameters and optimize the gas injection. Thus, a fuzzy controller to manage the gas injection choke opening was developed in the Continuous Gas-Lift method in order to increase the production rates, having its star of operation after the discharge operation of the well. To validate the control, it integrated it into the TraceLift software code and tested the tool with field data. Thus, the control proved efficient by increasing the production flow and reducing the amount of gas injected.
