RESUMO:

The oil industry is responsible for a significant amount of waste from its activities, where once disposed of improperly can cause damage to the environment. Given the environmental problems arising from the waste generated and considering the amount of this in the activities inherent to the processes of this industry, and in the search for an alternative technology to use this noble product, this study was carried out, seeking the applicability of the drill gravel in the industry of construction, specifically in the use of the manufacture of CBUQ - Hot-Rolled Bituminous Concrete, since it is widely used for road construction in the country. The technical aspects of the concrete manufactured in the defined concentrations in relation to the technical aspects according to the current legislation will be analyzed and tests of resistance to the simple compression of test bodies and of the diametral traction will be analyzed in order to verify the adequacy of the use of this residue in the confection of the CBUQ. Economic aspects and the feasibility of implementing this new proposed technology will be analyzed. Within this context, it is expected to find and identify a new technological alternative for the destination of this hazardous waste.
