Nursing. Health Education. Information Technology. Health.
Chronic non-communicable diseases, especially cardiovascular diseases, represent an important public health problem. Among them, the ischemic manifestations of the heart that characterize the acute coronary syndrome can occur, in which, acute myocardial infarction can occur. This is a high incidence event and is responsible for considerable morbidity and mortality worldwide. In certain cases, myocardial revascularization surgery is indicated for the treatment of the affected individual. Therefore, it is necessary to educate the patient in the preoperative period by the nursing team in order to improve their understanding of the disease and the care provided. When this happens, the chances of a postoperative with fewer complications and adverse events are increased. Thus, the aim is to develop and validate a mobile app to assist in patient education in the preoperative of coronary artery bypass surgery. For this, a methodological research, of technological production, with a mixed approach, will be carried out for the development of an educational application for patients, based on the contextualized instructional design. The study will be developed in two stages: in the first, regarding the application development, the phases recommended by the contextualized instructional design will be used, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In the second, the content validation of the application will be performed by judges with experience in nursing in cardiology. The entire study will take into account the ethical precepts established by resolution 466/12 of the National Health Council.
