Interprofessional education in health: construction of a theoreticalconceptual and methodological framework.
Interprofessional Relations; Methods; Health personnel; Comprehensiveness in health; Higher education.
The objective is to build a theoretical-conceptual and methodological framework for the Interprofessional Education (IPE) in the health area in Brazil. It is assumed that this framework will clarify the necessary aspects of this approach in the national context, provided that interprofessional team work and collaborative practice are taken into account, which requires an anti-reductionist paradigm to reorient the training of health professionals in dialogue with attention centered on the patient (ACP), health needs, teaching-service-community articulation and comprehensive care regarding the right to health, especially in the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS). This is a qualitative research in the light of complex thinking. Its realization will take place in six Brazilian public universities, pioneers in the implementation of the IPE. Semi-structured interviews and participant observations will be conducted as field strategies. The content analysis, in the thematic modality, will subsidize the systematization and categorization of the collected data. This investigation will be submitted to the Human Research Ethics Committee, in accordance with Resolution 466/2012.
