BANK OF SPECIAL NURSING LANGUAGE TERMS FOR PRESSURE INJURY PATIENTS

The bank of terms of special language of Nursing allows to detect concepts that help in the construction of nursing diagnoses, results and interventions. The use of this bank directed to patients with pressure injury is a primordial step in the identification of a vocabulary of its own, being able to be used in nursing care, systematically reinforcing its safety and quality. This research aims to construct a bank of terms of the special language of nursing for patients with pressure injury, using the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP®). version 2015. This is a methodological study, which will be carried out In a private hospital in the municipality of Natal. The sample will be composed of 77 patients and 50 experts, totaling 127 participants. The study will be developed in six stages, namely: identification and collection of terms relevant to nursing practice related to pressure injury; Extraction of medical records and elimination of repetitions; Standardization of terms; Cross-mapping between extracted terms and the terms in (ICNP®) version 2015; Refinement of terms; Validation of the bank's statements of terms. For the validation will be considered the Index of agreement equal to or greater than 0,80 between the experts. This project will be forwarded to the research ethics committee of the responsible institution. At all stages of the research, the ethical premises proposed by resolution 466/12 on research with human beings will be respected. Thus, it is expected to explore and know the terms used by the nursing team in the patient with pressure injury, enabling the development of statements of diagnosis / results and nursing interventions and also the unification of the professional language of the nurse.
