Marcos Napolitano to distinguish ideological revisionism from denialism. The methodology of the
educational product consists of an Inquiry-Based Learning Sequence lasting ten weeks (20 class
hours), designed for 3rd-grade High School students in a state public school. The proposal follows
a pedagogical itinerary transitioning from distinguishing science, opinion, and memory to working
with second-order concepts (evidence, change, continuity, significance, and causation), grounded
in contrasting digital discourses with historiographical and official sources (such as Institutional Act
No. 5 and the Report of the National Truth Commission). As a result, the project aims to restore
situated historical cognition rooted in reference science methods, empowering students to
critically validate knowledge, combat apathy, and consolidate historical consciousness in its
genetic dimension as an exercise of temporal orientation and democratic resistance in the present.
