RESUMO:

This intervention project seeks to create and implement an integrated management information system using information technology tools for the internationalization development of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, creating mechanisms for facilitating, reducing bureaucracy, organizing and boosting activities carried out by the Secretariat of International and Interinstitutional Relations of UFRN, in the format of a new and initial module / application, in the Integrated System of Management of Academic Activities - SIGAA already existing in this institution, which promotes the internationalization of UFRN, involving selection, registration, development and management activities of national and international academic mobilities; formalization, registration and follow-up of international academic cooperation agreements; translation of official documents, official media, subject matter and research papers; the growth of interest in foreign language proficiency among UFRN students and teachers; among other functionalities that arise during the development of the project, thus seeking productivity and objectivity in related activities resulting in an international strategic positioning differentiated for the university.
