Ethics in Autonomous Multi-Agents Systems
Ethics, Multi-Agents Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Humanity, Society.
In the current moment of humanity, expressing an opinion on Ethics in Autonomous Multi-Agents Systems has become mandatory given the evolution of this technology in recent years. Our objective will be to research what can be done to make the public good primordial and how to use shared intelligence in the service of improving coexistence.
We will look at the level of autonomy of computer systems and their human-like social interactions, such as cooperation, coordination, negotiation, etc. We know that by having free will and social interaction, humans have been wrong since the species began. We will be asking ourselves if this is already replicated by computer systems, if we have a way to detect the machine's mistake, if they commit fraud and how to identify this attitude.
Speaking in simple language, towards those who work, live and love in the most diverse societies, the essential thing is to observe Ethics in this new post-human era, where Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be a fundamental pillar to define whether we have a future. Technology has brought us a lot of power and today we are basically defining two paths. In the optimist, we will be a fairer society and with much more time for our humanity. On the pessimist, we are quickly heading towards yet another mass extinction on the planet. In our opinion, no matter what position in society you hold, we sincerely believe that you should take an active part in these decisions.
Our research proposes a focus on a great joint and partnership of the exact sciences with the human and social sciences, the total prohibit on autonomous weapons, the bottom_up approach in Multi-Agents Systems and the creation of Agent Severus to have the AI inspecting the AI.
