Basic Education, Musical Theater, Collaborative Process.
This paper discusses themes of the Collaborative Process, Musical Theater and Basic Education, which objective is to identify and to analyze how children’s musical learning process happens from the construction of a musical theater show mediated by the Collaborative Process in elementary education. The research’s methodology is the qualitative approach in research-action modality (ENGEL, 2000; TRIPP, 2005). In addition, it uses as references the authors Gaulke (2013) on music in the basic school, Abreu (2004) and Araújo (2006) on Process Collaborative, Santa Rosa (2012) on the Collaborative Process in Musical Theater and Santa Rosa (2006), Freitas (2015), Sousa (2015) and Monteiro (2015) on the practice of Musical Theater as artistic training. During the observation process, there were taken notes in the logbook, filming and photographic records that allowed reflections about the data. As results, the research identifies the stages of the performed musical’s collaborative creation process, some characteristics of the public elementary school that had an impact on the performance and the teaching practice’s challenges and learning. The students' learning analysis is still work in progress, since there is need to do the interviews with the students participating in the process of show creation.
