COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE PERCEPTION OF THE PUBLIC BETWEEN THE MEMORIZED PERFORMANCE AND WITH SCORE OF THE PIECE DESDOBRAMENTOS OF ROGÉRIO COSTA
Perceptive test, memorization, Rogério Costa, Desdobramentos.
This research analyzes the perception of the public through reports and five questionnaires collected after two performances, one with score and the other without, of the piece Desdobramentos of Rogério Costa, with the objective of ascertaining the interpretative impact of a memorized contemporary music performance. The first test collected qualitative reports, without any questionnaire to intervene in the reflection on the two versions watched. The other four will adopt a differentiated approach, seeking a response from the public in an objective and direct way, directing the participants on account of the questionnaire delivered before the presentation of the two versions of the work. The tests were created from four procedures: (1) the bibliographic survey of memory in music and experiments carried out as a function of public perception, (2) analysis and study of the work, (3) use of strategies for memorization of the piece and (4) the elaboration of the two questionnaires made according to the musical knowledge of the public. The conclusions will be described after the analysis of the data collected
