EXTENDED TECHNIQUES OF CONTEMPORARY MUSIC: THE REGENT AS A MEDIATOR OF THE INTERPRETATIVE
PROCESS
Extended Techniques. Contemporary music. Camerata Jovem. Interpretative Practices
The present study aims to discuss aspects of interpretation drawing on interpretative possibilities of extended techniques. The work is being developed in the context of a social project in the city of Luís Gomes/RN entitled "Camerata Jovem ", this group has a technical basis guided by traditional methods in the teaching of ropes rubbed (technical approaches of baroque music and classic-romantic). Our goals seek to present ways for work/approach of the techniques extended from contemporary music in the context of the aforementioned, Camerata Jovem with the intention of bringing young musicians of practices that characterize the contemporary music. Our methodological proposal provides tools for data collections as the documentary research, audiovisual research, analysis described interpretive-of works that present technical compatibility with the level of the orchestra of this study, as well as the approach self-ethnographical considering the participation of the researcher in the processes that underpin this research. Our research uses, such as data collection tool, the Four Seasons “Portenhas” of Astor Piazzolla with arrangement of the Arthur Barbosa (northeastern) and the Itinerário de Passagem: Veronica Nadir, composition of Silvio Ferraz. These works demand the execution of techniques that are used in the practice of contemporary repertoire, in this sense, we will hold the cataloguing of the techniques and its elucidation circulation during the interpretative process. The analysis seeks to understand ways to uncover means valid, establishing a communication between the conductor (maestro) and the group (the Camerata) with the intention to propose ways to solve problems that might be harmful to interpretation. We will seek to clarify the technical needs-statements that require the ideas of composers, resulting in the search for new sounds that can be produced through the exploitation of the techniques extended. From this perspective we will try to put the relevance that the extended techniques of contemporary music can achieve in practice and in the perception of the Camerata Jovem and thus contribute to the development of technique and the growth of musical youth who are part of the project of formation of Luís Gomes/RN.
