SUMMARY:

Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) namely: diabetes, hypertension, obesity significantly impact the health system, since they represent, together, one of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in Brazil. As a provider of care and the main gateway to the Brazilian public health system, Primary Health Care (PHC) must be well structured to provide comprehensive, egalitarian and longitudinal assistance, bearing in mind the multifactoriality and complexity involved in managing these conditions. conditions. Thus, the main objective of the present study is to analyze, in several Brazilian locations, the level of compliance with care parameters in PHC, for users with CNCD, according to what is by the Ministry of Health. The study is linked to the Caring Project qualifying comprehensive care for chronic non-communicable diseases in the Potiguar wilderness” funded by the Ministry of Health in call notice nº 28/2020, approved by the Research Ethics Committee under opinion nº 5.163. 097. To this end, secondary data were collected for the period from 2019 to 2022, available in public information systems on: sociodemographic aspects, individual assistance, collective actions, home visits, procedures. Next, the data were used for the elaboration of indicators in relation to the productivity and performance of the PHC in relation to the assistance to the aforementioned CNCDs. One of the aspects analyzed, with regard to users with diabetes, was the performance evaluation regarding the execution of home visits, individual consultations by doctors and nurses and the diabetic foot examination established in the line of care and in the National Policy of Primary Care (PNAB ). Those municipalities that reached 50% or more in the evaluated indicators were classified as good performers. However, the good performance was only verified in relation to medical consultations carried out in the Northeast and South regions. So far, the results obtained indicate fragility in the care of users with CNCDs in PHC.
