Urban Park; Environmental Perception; Environmental education.
The present study deals with the environmental perception of the technicians of the Environmental Education Center (CEA) of an Urban Park located in Natal-RN, aiming to analyze the activities developed by them and to verify the challenges faced in park management and how these activities are reaching the target audience. In addition, we verified the trends of Environmental Education treated in this green area. The methodology used to reach the results counted on bibliographical research and application of questionnaires containing subjective questions to the 11 technicians of the Environmental Education Center. From the data processed, the results showed that the activities carried out by the park are reaching a diverse target audience. The technicians' vision is still somewhat generalist and conservative when it comes to environment and environmental education. As for the challenges faced, most of them go through public power. It was mentioned by them the lack of funds for resolutions of problems such as the operation of the Sewage Station.
