: Chrononutrition. Translation. Validation studies.
Introduction: Chrononutrition is an emerging topic and proposes that dietary intake associated with mealtime can affect the regulation of the circadian system. To assess chrononutritional parameters, it is necessary to obtain detailed information about eating and sleeping habits, which are not found in a single, specific questionnaire. Objectives: To translate and culturally adapt the Chrononutrition Profile – Questionnaire (CP-Q) to Portuguese and assess its validity and reliability for the Brazilian population. Methods: In the first stagethe instrument was translated and cross-cultural adapted to Portuguese. Later, the back-translation was made, returning to the original language. A committee of experts evaluated and the pre-final version of the instrument was reached. The pre-test was carried out with 31 undergraduate students enrolled at the Faculty of Health Sciences of Trairi (FACISA) through virtual interviews, after which the final version of the questionnaire was reached. In the second stage, the construct validity will carried out, witch will occur in throughout Brazil and participants will answer the CP-Q along with the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, the Night Eating Questionnaire, the Quality of Life and Health Index through the SF-36 questionnaire and the Recall 24h food. The reproducibility of the test will be done with the new application of the questionnaire between 5 and 15 days after the original application.
