RESUMO:

Project Based Learning is an active teaching strategy, which enables students to develop skills and abilities to solve problems in the business environment through the achievement of a project. The exercise of the accounting profession has challenged its practitioners to guide and make decisions in the context of complex variables and dynamic environments. The objective of this research is to analyze the students' perception of the Accounting Sciences course regarding the development of skills and abilities to solve business problems with the application of the Project Based Learning methodology in the subject of Business Controllership. In order too achieve the objective of this study; a descriptive research has been carried out, applying a qualitative approach to the problem. The data collection was done through participant observation, the application of questionnaires with the students and document analysis. The analysis of the questionnaires will beby spreadsheets, followed by an analysis of the content of the reports delivered at the end of the application of the method.
