ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE AND TURNOVER INTENTION: the relation noticed by technical-administrative servants of a federal higher education institution.

Considering the demands of an organizational environment, the state-owned enterprises must be prepared to meet the constant changes of the market. Also, the managers demand new mechanisms to permit individuals to remain in federal institutions, since that people are essential for these institutions to work properly. Thus, analyzing the context of people management in the public sector by means of perspective of innovation, the importance of studying creative ways for solving problems related to people turnover rose as an important subject. Therefore, this study aims to disseminate knowledge about thebehavior of individuals inserted into an organizational environment, considering as starting point the accomplishment of a diagnosis linking perception of organizational justice and turnover intention of the servants of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). For this purpose, a questionnaire was implemented in order to measure the degrees of turnover intention and perception of organizational justice (with distributive and procedure traits). As a result, contributions to provide inputs that can be used in the elaboration of actions to enhance the policies of people management at UFRN are expected, as well as contributions to assist other public institutions in the implementation of resources that aim at the welfare of individuals in a work environment.
