SUMMARY:

Internationalization is becoming an increasingly frequent reality for a variety of companies. Recent changes in the global landscape raise concerns about the performance of the Brazilian economy and its form of external integration. Despite the difficulties, many local organizations have managed to embark on the internationalization process. The literature on international business and the internationalization of companies has evolved considerably in recent years and has sparked interest in several research projects. Similarly, studies using an ecosystem perspective to approach business dynamics have advanced. This work starts from the construct of a company internationalization ecosystem and aims to propose a composite index to evaluate the development of these ecosystems through the quantitative measurement criterion of composite indices. These tools are commonly used to study multidimensional phenomena, translating the the observed reality into a single value.
