BETWEEN BODY AND SPACE: the construction of corporeal spaces in the works ofMário Pinto de Andrade in Angola between 1950-1970

The proposal of this research is to investigate the construction of bodily spaces in MarioPinto de Andrade’s works. The sources used are Andrade's written works, such as articles,short stories, novels, letters in their political, social, cultural and symbolic dimensions. Thehistorical period researched is limited to the second half of the 20th century, specificallybetween the 1950s and 1970s, in Angola. The methodological approach of reading, analyzeand investigate these sources will be Suely Rolnick’s cartographic method. For a betterarticulation of this research, a dialogue will be maintained with the theoretical propositionsof David Le Breton, Yi-Fu Tuan, Mary Del Priori and Michel Foucault.
