The objective of this work is to understand the elements that constitute the teaching ofHistory, between the years 1991 and 1992, present in the teacher Ana Afra's planningnotebooks. In which were discovered by contacting NDM - Núcleo de Documentação eMemória da Educação do RN/IFESP- Instituto de Educação Superior PresidenteKennedy we found the teacher's planning notebooks, which are objects of school cultureand daily records that reveal the teachings in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte. Themethodology that will be developed is based on the historical analysis of the collectionof planning notebooks, which worked in the basic education network in the city ofNatal-RN in several schools in the region. The encounter with the school planningnotebooks of a teacher delimits the research by ratifying the need to write narratives thatreveal the diversity of teachings and how History is learned in the city of Natal, takinginto consideration the existing debates within the field in order to extrapolate adichotomized historiographical construction that is limited to productions abouttraditional and innovative teaching, stuck with an Official documentation.
