ABSTRACT
The present work seeks to analyze the Norwegian Black Metal scene, having a temporal cut that permeates the 1990s until the mid 2010s, which became a spatiality responsible for many of the influencing pillars of this subgenre of Heavy Metal. Once marked in the musical and behavioral field, as well as by the artistic production based on Satanism and other so-called transgressors, but at a certain moment, they find in the nature and in the uses of the past a new lyrical exploratory lyrical and imagery, causing in a discourses full of nostalgia, nationalism and anti-modernity. This work was based on the assumption that the Norwegian Black Metal scene in the period studied is - in addition to the most influential of the various subgenres of musicality and Heavy Metal culture - in a space with its own dimensions, with its own sociabilities and (re) symbolic, as justification for certain visions and contradictions by those who shared it.
