SUMMARY:

Objective: To analyze the concept of tuberculosis management, identifying its attributes, antecedents, and consequences. Methodology: A descriptive study with a qualitative approach, based on the conceptual analysis proposed by Walker and Avant. Operationalization was carried out through a Scoping Review, and a lexicographical analysis was performed using the IRAMUTEQ software, employing a similarity analysis and Descending Hierarchical Classification. Results and discussion: Twenty-five studies were included, predominantly in English and Spanish. The attributes identified were the organization of services, therapeutic follow-up, adherence to treatment, user-centeredness, multidisciplinary work, and the use of technologies. Antecedents highlighted the existence of revealed cases and the structure of the health system, while consequences involved improved cure rates, reduced abandonment, increased access, and greater user autonomy. Conclusion: Tuberculosis management is configured as an integrated process that articulates technical, organizational, and human dimensions, contributing to greater conceptual clarity and strengthening of care and management practices in health.
