Taking the ordinariness of everyday life as a field of observation and creation, fragments of almost nothing arises from the need to reflect on ways of paying attention to the world within a context that often privileges the extraordinary, productivity, and the constant pursuit of novelty, contributing to a distancing from what is repetitive and constitutes the greater part of human existence. Photography here establishes forms of proximity and gives visual expression to the sensory dimensions embedded in everyday events, acting as a means of relating to the world. This research seeks to linger on the experiences that shape everyday life, exploring them through a sensitive and poetic photographic artistic practice
