RESUMO:

It is noticeable to professionals involved in Basic Education, especially us, teachers of mother tongue, the difficulty that students constantly have to express themselves in the most diverse situations of interaction. Whether in writing or in orality, students demonstrate difficulties in organizing the texts they are asked to do during didactic-pedagogical activities, considering, among other things, what to say, why say, to whom the text is directed, what a way to say it. Thus, we argue that teaching spoken language and writing practices in the classroom enables students to develop their linguistic-communicative competence by preparing them for the use of language in different interaction situations. Therefore, this study will be guided by works related to the relationship between speech and writing, which privilege the text from situations of concrete use of language. Therefore, we start from the understanding that the relationship between speech and writing occurs in a continuum and that these modalities are not dichotomous. Thus, our research will be guided by the following questions: Do 8th graders produce written texts from retextualized versions of the spoken language? What linguistic-discursive operations do they use in the retextualization of one modality to another in the interview genre? Thus, we chose as a general objective of this research to investigate how 8th grade students retextualize their productions, from the spoken modality to a written version, in the interview genre. From the specific point of view, we selected the following objectives: a) to recognize the relationship between speech and writing in the students' productions, in view of the typological continuum; b) identify the linguistic-discursive strategies used by students in the process of retextualization of speech to writing; c) analyze the linguistic-discursive operations in the process of retextualization of speech to writing, in the textual interview genre, produced by the students. From the methodological point of view, this work will follow the action research guidelines and will be considered a qualitative approach to data analysis. For the realization of action research, we will apply an intervention proposal in the Portuguese language classroom, didactic-pedagogical work developed in a didactic sequence, based on the proposal of Dolz, Schnewuly and Noverraz (2004). The corpus of the research will consist of interviews retextualized by students from data of this genre collected orally (based on the Conversation Analysis system). We will take as categories of analysis for this investigation, the model of textual-discursive operations in the passage of the text from oral to writing, as proposed by Marcuschi (2010). Theoretically, we will be based on works that follow interactional proposals, based on the works of Andrade and Aquino (2012); Leal and Gois (2012); Marcuschi (2005 and 2010); Hoffnagel (2002); Schhneuwly and Dolz (2004), among others. Given that we did not collect data, we did not present research results.
