SUMMARY:

This study analyzes the possibilities and consequences of using Artificial Intelligence applications in the collection and recovery of public credits. To this end, through the jurimetrics methodology, a cut was made that investigated the quantitative characteristics of default in the stock of tax credits of federal public agencies and foundations within the State of Rio Grande do Norte under the responsibility of the Federal Attorney General's Office - PGF , a body linked to the Attorney General of the Union – AGU, allowing the elaboration of inferences as an instrument to improve the legal order. The value of this research lies in the search for technological means that enable efficient asset recovery, as well as effectiveness in the reasonable duration of processes. The observations made allowed the structuring of a strategic delinquency profile by quantity (PEIQ) through the dynamic identification and grouping of similar characteristics of different tax credits that point to the application of Artificial Intelligence. As a result, a discussion was held on the fundamental guarantees of privacy, privacy and confidentiality of data in the context of Brazilian tax law, adopting as an outline the fundamental duties of paying taxes and individualization and identification of the citizen, addressing tax confidentiality and the processing of personal data necessary for the improvement of the tax authorities and for the effectiveness of solidarity and tax citizenship.
