RESUMO:

Introduction: Caffeine promotes an increase in metabolism, much of it is based on it, and also has some influence on an orthodontic loading rate. Objective: To evaluate the effect of pregnancy and health on rats. Methodology: This is an experimental, in vivo, randomized study, with a descriptive and inferential basis. A series will consist of 49 healthy male Wistar rats (Ratus norvegicus albinus) between 10 and 12 weeks of age, which remained on the left side during the first ten days of the week during the 21 day period. The rats will be divided randomly into 3 groups: Group 1 (control) - Rats submitted only to orthodontic movement and daily dose of saline solution; Group 2 (Thermogenic PRE-HD) - Mice submitted to orthodontic movement and daily dose of thermogenic PRE-HD and Group 3 (Caffeine) - Mice submitted to orthodontic movement and daily dose of caffeine. An analysis of orthodontic mobility will be done by obtaining a distance from the left side of the muscle on the left side by the cervical. In addition, an open field test will be performed, after the analysis of the previous results and after an orthodontic and periodic analysis. The alveolar bone loss will be assessed with the help of an imaging software (ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS3), in which an evaluation of the area between an amelo-cement joint and alveolar bony crests will be performed. The analysis of the bone remodeling will be done in histological samples stained by HE, in which the evidences related to the absence of period during an orthodontic escape will be described. For the histomorphometric analysis, the immunoreactive cells will be examined for the OPG and RANK-L antibodies.
