RETEXTUALIZATION AND MULTIMODALITY IN THE CHRONICLES OF CAROL BENSIMON: VIDEO-MINUTE GENRE
Multimodality; Chronicle; One-minute video; Retextualization.
This work, entitled “Retextualization and Multimodality in Carol Bensimon’s
chronicles: One-minute video genre”, aims to present an intervention proposal
focused on the development of the literary reader through strategies elaborated
from the reading of Uma estranha na cidade, by Carol Bensimon. By
understanding the importance of both literary works in the knowledge spread
through reading and time, we seek to make it a daily practice in the school
environment by involving both teachers and students in the process of
recovering the habit of reading. In this sense, the research will be developed
from an interdisciplinary perspective, aiming to involve several curricular
subjects, in order to promote approximation between readers and texts which
can enable the enchanting and enriching experience of literary reading, in a 9th
year class of Elementary School II, through the video-minute genre that will be
produced by the students in accordance with the mediation of the research
teacher. To carry out this study, we adopted a qualitative-methodological
approach based on action research from the perspective of Thiollent (2011).
The work carried out with the chronicle genre will use the didactic sequence
suggested by Dolz (2010), as well as the contributions of Cosson (2011) with
regard to literary literacy. We intend to reflect on studies that deal with speech
genres from the perspective of Bakhtin (2003), digital genres and multiliteracy,
Rojo (2012), Ribeiro (2016). All of these theorists will serve as the basis for this
research.
