Introduction: The interprofessional team of the Hospital Universitário Ana Bezerra (HUAB) works together to act in the frenotomy surgery process, with the dental team being directly responsible for this procedure in newborns (NB) when ankyloglossia (tongue-tied) is detected. However, these professionals do not provide a personalized educational product that supports, directs and facilitates their teaching-learning process regarding this procedure. Objective: the main objective of this work was to support the teaching process and the interprofessional team at Huab, in relation to frenotomy surgery, through the creation and application of a serious game type tool directed to the stages of this surgery. As a secondary objective, you will get to know the perception of the professionals involved in this process through the formation of a virtual focus group. Methodology: Qualitative action-research study, whose data collection was divided into three phases, with the target audience divided into two groups: Dental Team (EO) and Other Higher Education Professionals (DPNS). In the 1st phase, aimed only at the dental team, a serious quiz game was created and applied with the application of an online questionnaire that was accessed before and after the game; the 2nd phase was aimed at the DPNS group, in which the game and an online questionnaire were applied in order to find out what this public's knowledge about the subject was; Finally, in the 3rd phase, a Virtual Focus Group was formed, composed of members of both groups and whose objective was to know the perception of this public about the dynamics of their performance in the care process for NBs with ankyloglossia. Results: the results showed that the use of the game helped the learning process of those who underwent it.
