The vertical integration is a result found by the big cities to solve the problems of the cluster of people living in it. However, the residential buildings that have been developed have as one of its main characteristics excessive standardization, disregard of culture and climate, low construction quality of the buildings, resulting in projects that neglect the cultural identity of future residents and basic conditions environmental quality. The residential buildings in Brazil since 2013 due to publication of Performance Standard NBR 15.575 / 2013 should be designed to meet various requirements and criteria, including the environmental performance - thermal, acoustic and luminal - the building. In this context, it is intended from the development of a multifamily residential project, decode the standard in its procedures, specifications, design and construction of buildings, discussing and scrutinizing for other architects which its forward skills to Performance Standard. In addition to result in renewed discussion of any item of standard and even result in projective recommendations aimed at reconciling environmental comfort.
