THE CREATIVITY AS AN INNOVATION TOOL IN BRAZILIAN MICARETAS

Creativity is seen as a tool capable of transforming traditional models of management and, motivated by the growing changes envisioned by contemporary society, the capacity for creation emerges as a differentiating resource capable of generating autonomy, solutions to problems and an entrepreneurial attitude. Able to provide the experience sought by contemporary tourists, creativity is considered a decisive factor in the holding of events. The micaretas appropriated and disseminated the creativity in their organizational scope aiming to effect innovations capable of increasing and mobilizing a high tourist demand. Based on the componential model of creativity, the research will be carried out through the analysis of the three components, individual (intrinsic motivation, expertise and creative abilities) and organizational (organizational motivation, resources and management practices). Which forms the organizational creativity can be used as a tool for innovation and ensure the maintenance of the Brazilian micaretas. From a quali-quatitative approach, the methodology used is descriptive-exploratory in character. As a tool for data collection, it will be used semi-structured interviews with the managers of the companies organizing events and application of questionnaires with employees. The analysis of the data will be carried out with the help of the NVIVO and SPSS software. At the end of the research, the aim is to present the tools for implementing creativity in organizations, as well as to contribute to research in the field of event tourism.
