SUMMARY:

Recent studies indicate that failures in supply management negatively
impact organizational efficiency and quality of care, reinforcing the need for innovative
solutions. Objective: To validate, in terms of appearance, content, and usability, a web-based
system designed for material management in Sterile Processing Departments, aimed at the
organization, control, and traceability of hospital inventories. Methodology: This study
consists of a methodological research, which will involve the development and validation of a
web-based system for inventory management in Sterile Processing Departments.
