RESUMO:

The present research in the field of Performing Arts presents an experimental study on theatricality and performativity in the art of magicians, addressing the practical and theoretical aspects related to the performance, training and creative process of magicians in the performance of their work. We analyze and discuss some of the processes and devices used by these performers, proposing a more detailed look at their ways of doing and acting, organizing a dialogue between them and the Performig Arts. Three elements punctuate this investigation: the body of the performer, the performativity and the nature of his art. Bibliographical sources, interviews and experience reports were analyzed in this memorial of qualification, considering also the artistic crossing of the author. The theoretical discussion proposes dialogues with authors of the performing arts, anthropology, history, communication and performance studies. This piece also had reference books and lecture notes authoring magicians, diluting epistemic boundaries and bringing knowledge in the arts involved.
