The Role of the Meeting with the Artist in the formation of the spectator subject

The theme of this work aims at approaching aspects of the formation of the viwer student in the High School context through the appraisal of theatrical plays. This approach proposes a didactic-pedagogic objective, which is inserted in the ideia of realizing how this student can become a critic and autonomous subject by participating in the scenic event as the audience and scene debaters. The working space is IFRN Macau campus and the plays were: “Sobre Asas e Abismos” and “Psi – Quando a loucura passa como sanidade” (Confraria da Cena), “Máquina para Ícaro” e “Um pequeno das estrelas” (CIA Cênica Ventura). In this work, we focus on the second-year students of High School. As references, We use the Triangular Approach (BARBOSA, 2010), Epistemological Dialogues (ARAÚJO, 2010), Pedagogy of Autonomy (FREIRE, 1996), Pedagogy of the Viewer (DESGRANGES, 2010), the Analysis of the Spectacles (PAVIS, 2011), the Participant Research (BRANDÃO, 1999), The Drama (CABRAL, 2006) and Corporeities (NÓBREGA, 2016). The methodology, through a participant research perspective, aims at investigating this educational process with its different actors, teacher/mediator and audience. Debates were held after the shows, as well as questionnaires and group talks, in order to promote a socialization and reflection about the knowledge discussed about in the classroom. Thus, through the dialogues, basic theater elements that were relevant to the composition of each play were approached. This research aims at understanding and reflecting about the formation of the High School students at IFRN Macau, inside of the art teaching universe, as appraisal agents and critical subjects of the scenic spectacle, stimulating autonomy, the esthesia face the experiences provided by the fruition of the Art Sciences in the context of education.
