PEDAGOGICAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN TERTIARY CARE AND PRIMARY CARE: PROPOSED TRAINING ITINERARY FOR WORKERS - RESIDENTS IN SERIDÓ POTIGUAR
Multiprofessional Residency. Teaching-Service. Hospital Care.
The Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica (PRMAB) of the Escola Multicampi de Ciências Médicas of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (EMCM/UFRN) in partnership with the Municipal Health Departments of Caicó/RN and Currais Novos/RN, aims to provide training for professionals from different health areas based on reflective, critical, humanistic and ethical practices with social responsibility in the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). The Health Care Networks of the municipalities of Caicó/RN and Currais Novos/RN are the practice settings for PRMAB workers-residents. In Caicó/RN, one of the facilities that is part of the teaching-learning process through work is the Hospital Estadual Telecila Freitas Fontes (HETFF), which is placed as a rotation for the workers-residents of the second year of PRMAB. This study aims to produce a proposal for an educational itinerary for workers/residents of the Programa de Residência Multiprofissional em Atenção Básica at the Hospital Estadual Telecila Freitas Fontes as a practice scenario. This is a qualitative, exploratory research that uses documentary research as a methodological theoretical framework. The analysis of the documents was influenced by the social place occupied by the researcher as a preceptor and graduate of PRMAB. Therefore, we used as data collection tools the researcher's field diary, with notes dated from March 11, 2022 to July 2022, as well as the evaluation of the rotation in the hospital unit contained in the activity reports of the residents who passed through the service in the years 2021 and 2022. This proposal is materialized in a manual, which provides information about the hospital unit, the PRMAB and the rotation at HETFF, proposing the learning objectives, the possible activities to be developed (with script suggestions), the standard schedule and the elaboration of a final product of the rotation. With this, we hope to contribute both to the qualification of the teaching-learning process of workers-residents who work in the HETFF as a segment of Primary Care, and to the improvement of Health Care in the municipality of Caicó/RN.
