PEDAGOGICAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN TERTIARY CARE AND PRIMARY CARE: PROPOSED TRAINING ITINERARY FOR WORKERS - RESIDENTS IN SERIDÓ POTIGUAR
Multiprofessional Residency. Teaching-Service. Hospital Care.
The Multiprofessional Residency Program in Primary Care (PRMAB) of the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in partnership with the Municipal Health Departments of Caicó/RN and Currais Novos/RN, aims to provide an opportunity for training professionals from different areas of health based on reflective, critical, humanitarian and ethical practices with social responsibility in the Unified Health System. The Health Care Networks in the cities of Caicó/RN and Currais Novos/RN are the PRMAB residents' practice scenarios. In Caicó/RN, one of the teaching-learning scenarios in service is the Hospital Estadual Telecila Freitas Fontes (HETFF), which is offered as a rotation to second year residents. This work aims to propose a booklet systematically organized in order to produce a training itinerary for the residents of PRMAB in HETFF as a strategy to strengthen Primary Care. This is a qualitative, exploratory research that uses action research as a theoretical and methodological reference. For this, we used as tools for data collection the field diary of this researcher, with notes dated from March 11, 2022 to July 2022, as well as the evaluation of the rotation in the hospital unit contained in the activity reports of the residents who passed through the service in the years 2021 and 2022. The booklet has information about the hospital unit, the PRMAB, and the rotation, proposing the learning objectives, the expected competencies, the possible activities to be developed, the standard schedule, and the elaboration of a final product of the rotation. With this, we hope to contribute to the qualification of the teaching-learning process of multiprofessional residents in Primary Care who act in the HETFF as a space capable of constituting itself as a segment of Primary Care in the municipality of Caicó/RN.
