Pedagogical strategies and resources for teaching and learning contents of Human Anatomy are diversified and applied in line with curricular matrices of courses in the biomedical area. This study will aim to assess the effectiveness of the use of different anatomy teaching resources with knowledge tests and student motivation assessment. Four lectures on locomotor system will be given to students of the fourth period of the Medicine course at the Multicampi School of Medical Sciences, in the city of Caicó-RN. After a brief study session, the students were divided into two groups: Group 1 (use of a Virtual table) and Group 2 (use of plastinated pieces) in order to have different practical experiences in the morphofunctional laboratory. After completion of the programmed study plan, tests were reapplied with the content covered for all academics, a subjective assessment and a learning motivation questionnaire. The motivation scores as well as the means or medians of the tests were compared between the groups. The averages of the subjective evaluations among the students were also described and compared.
