PROCESSO DE TRABALHO E POLÍTICA DE SAÚDE MENTAL NA PERSPECTIVA DOS PROFISSIONAIS DE ENFERMAGEM DE UM CAPS III

The Brazilian Psychiatric Reform (RPB) is a complex process of political and social changes, in the sense that goes from the asylum biomedical model to the construction of a system with strategies that seek to contemplate the mental health and psychosocial care of subjects with mental and mental disorders. their family members, including them in the community as citizens subject to rights. The objective is to identify the knowledge of the CAPS III nursing team in Caicó-RN, about the National Mental Health Policy; develop permanent health education (EPS) workshops for the CAPS III nursing team in Caicó-RN, related to the mental health work process and the National Mental Health Policy; and building educational material (booklet), to contribute to the mental health work process of the nursing staff of this service. Research was carried out at CAPS III of Caicó-RN, from October 2020 to February 2021, approved by the Research Ethics Committee (FACISA / UFRN), under opinion 4331807. A questionnaire was applied to higher education nursing professionals and medium who work in CAPS III of Caicó-RN, which contained questions about data of sociodemographic and professional characterization (Part A), as well as assertions (Part B) about the National Policy on Mental Health, Psychiatric Reform and Assistance to the person in psychological distress (mental health work process, care and clinic management and nursing care). The information obtained from the questionnaire was submitted to analysis, using an “answer key”. Began planning and implementing the four proposed EPS workshops, through the Cisco Webex digital platform due to the pandemic caused by the infection with the new Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). The results indicated workers' prior knowledge indexes, with sufficient knowledge on average of 83.4%. Given this analysis, and the complexity presented, it is necessary to reorganize the work process in this service, with the objective of professionals appropriating strategic mechanisms of the Psychiatric Reform consolidation process, and understanding that the nursing team is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team with regard to actions that enable this consolidation of psychosocial care to take place.
