A proposal for a didactic sequence to approach chemical kinetics using social networks.

The use of information technologies social networks presents itself as a means of distraction within the school structure. Usually, the first action to resolve the problems caused by the diversion of attention aggravated using these technologies is to prohibit or limit their use. New communication technologies have synchronicity and allow students to exchange information in real time, enabling the sharing of information of mutual interest. The social networks twitter, facebook, instagram and tiktok are new forms of communication still little explored by the school and which have great potential for scientific dissemination and communication with young students. The objective of this work is to evaluate whether the use of social networks contributes to the teaching of chemical kinetics. This research is based on the assumptions of the Historical-Cultural theory, mainly Vygotsky's vision for whom language is a complex cultural instrument, I will try to reflect on school practices that can contribute to improving communication and encouraging different forms of expression. The research will be qualitative of the action-research type and will have as participants the students of the 3rd grade of high school at EEEP Maria Ângela da Silveira Borges, located in the Vicente Pinzon neighborhood, in Fortaleza, Ceará. Data collection will be done through content analysis of the activities carried out, and a structured questionnaire applied to students. We hope that students show greater productivity, feel more motivated and that the applied methodology contributes to the increase in the daily time devoted to studies, in the participation of the proposed activities and, consequently, in the grades obtained. The educational product resulting from this research will be a didactic unit with guidance to teachers in the use of social networks in the teaching of chemical kinetics.
