SUMMARY:

Introduction: The Translation of Knowledge (kT) is a term used to describe the process of applying the results obtained in research in the real world, it is the result of a participatory and dynamic process, which enables the strengthening of health systems, assists in taking decisions and favors improvements in the quality of health of the population. Objective: To evaluate the translation of knowledge from the perspective of professionals, managers and users focused on care for individuals with chronic non-communicable diseases in Primary Health Care (PHC). Methods: This is an observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study, with a quantitative approach, carried out at the V Regional Public Health Unit (URSAP), located in the Trairi and Potengi Health Region -RN, from February to December 2022. The sample consisted of 130 participants, of which 58 were professionals, 17 managers and 55 PHC users. All ethical precepts were respected. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured questionnaires, prepared by researchers for PHC professionals, managers and users, which contained questions about sociodemographic data and knowledge about KT. After collection, descriptive analysis was performed using SPSS software version 22.0. Results: Article 1 aimed to investigate KT in the care of Chronic Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) from the perspective of PHC managers and professionals, 58 professionals and 17 health managers, working in PHC in 10 municipalities of the V USARP, participated in the study, most participants were female (74.2%), 50% professionals said they had no knowledge about KT, 41.2% of health managers reported having heard about KT, however they did not know how to explain or define what was. When asked about support for participating in training activities, it was found that most professionals and managers do not receive support from management in participating in KT training focused on NCDs (96.6%). The second article aims to investigate how the transfer of information for the care of CNCD occurs from the point of view of PHC users and professionals, which is under construction. It is concluded that there is a lack of knowledge on the part of professionals and managers about KT, an important tool that helps in the use of information with professionals and users of health services, which can enable improvements in the care provided, as well as in the promotion of health.
