SUMMARY:

Organizational readiness for change (POM) is an initiative that proposes changes regarding the implementation of technological innovations, public policies and health programs for health services. The study will assess professionals for their propensity to change through the Brazilian version of the Instrument Assessment of Organizational Readiness for Change - POM Assessment, a translation and cross-cultural adaptation that uses the most relevant domains for the perception of professionals' propensity to change, containing 65 items and 12 subscales. Objectives: to use the POM Assessment to identify the level of propensity to change of professionals and form their propensity to change profile; promote their participation, generating knowledge and increasing the response capacity of organizations to the new demands of the health sector. The research was approved by the CEP of FACISA, under Opinion: 4,846,979. Participants were contacted in person, via email and/or via WhatsApp. They were informed about the research objectives and signed the consent form, answering the questionnaires via Google Forms. 45 health professionals from Tangará-RN were selected, of which 32 agreed to participate. The POM Assessment is a self-administered instrument, answered in 20 minutes. Its use is necessary to show compatible and sensitive results for the Brazilian population and contributes to the realization of other studies that want to measure the impact of the proposed change in the studied population. The validation of the POM Assessment will be through the analysis of psychometric characteristics: reliability and construct validity. To assess test-retest reliability, intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) will be used. The scale's internal consistency will also be calculated using Cronbach's alpha. Expected results: the greater the number of facilitating factors recognized by the participants, the greater the participation, leading to greater acquisition of knowledge and greater propensity and effective adoption of new technologies in interdisciplinary work.
